Why au pair?

If you have a passion for children and enjoy working with them in a home environment, like the idea of working as an au pair full time or would like to supplement your income whilst studying, then au pairing is a wonderful opportunity for you. The hours an au pair is needed to work and the parent's requirements differ from family to family but the basic requirement is the same; suitable, reliable and safe childcare for their children. Parents are seeking honest, punctual, experienced, hard working, friendly, and loving au pairs to care for their children in their home environment. Enjoy working as an au pair full time or part-time whilst studying. We also require suitable, long-term permanent babysitters who are required to work during the evenings, holidays and weekends.

The requirements to work as an au pair are as follows:
- A driver's license is usually essential and you should be an experienced, confident driver.
- It is an advantage, but not always essential, to have your own reliable car.
- Suitable childcare experience previously working with children in various circumstances is essential.

Once you have decided to au pair locally, you will need to compile the following information and contact us for an interview:
- Covering letter: an informal, introduction letter introducing yourself.
- Complete CV.
- Written, contactable references where you've previously worked with children.
- ID photograph
- Copy of you ID book
- Copy of your driver's license
